Our History
"Grandpa Jim" has nothing directly to do with The Rolling RocHaüs™ and it's many activities, but does offer a lot of excellent advice as well as reading material. In our family, little is handed to you beyond a good book! I simply chose to insert this particular picture of my Father, "Grandpa Jim", to emphasize my PRIDE in him and that,
"It's In Our Blood!"

When I was 13 I had so much energy I set out to make my mark on Our World. I started by teaming up with my friends and little brother to break a World Record. As you can see in the above newspaper clipping on the right, we met our objective. Point being, please don't tell us it can't be done because we believe anything is achievable if you put your mind to it!
Still 13, I decided I wanted to follow my natural instincts and became a "Roadie"! I still remember setting up ond polishing Brad Butler's 16 piece double bass TAMA drum set (with temple blocks, rotto toms, chimes and a gong... I can hear it now) while he was still in MONARCH. I'm "as honorable as a horse" as one friend put it and had this crazy idea that if the Band made it then they would take me along as one of their Roadies. I spent several years helping Brad through endless Band members and Bands i.e. AN DAGGER and SABATAR but obviously never ended up a Roadie for a Major League band.
All of this naturally manifested in handing out flyers for the likes of The Battle of the Bands at Bellevue, WA.'s Skate King as well as many other shows.

The corruption of those "Battle of the Bands" and my
disgust therewith pretty much popped my bubble, so, despite handing out flyers
at Blue Oyster Cult and ZZ Top Concerts down at The Seattle Center (for
example)
pursuant to supporting the local Bands, I chose to stay away from "The
Game" so to speak.
On the other hand, I missed some most excellent Historical shows as from those battles emerged the likes of Metal Church and Queensryche! Now its KC's turn to join our family tradition. Here's 13-year-young KC (above) outside the famous Ballard Firehouse in Seattle on October 27, 2001. The Rolling RocHaüs™ would be officially born on Halloween 2001. |

and KC.
This picture was taken at a Band Practice/Gig at Guitar Center in Totem Lake when I was Managing (if you want to call it that) a Band that he's in. "Managing Bands" just isn't my particular gig. |

I basically posted these particular pictures to assure Grandma & Grandpa that their Grandchildren are most certainly on their way!
